At Pitman Family Eyecare we take insurance for both routine eyecare and medical services. Insurance companies sometimes cover one but not the other. Below is a list of some of the insurance we handle:
Vision Service Plan
Vision Benefits of America
Eyemed ( some plans)
Aetna (most plans)
Blue Cross/Blue Shield (some)
Please make every attempt to know your insurance concerning routine eyecare vs medical services and whether you need a referral to see us.
Also, check with your insurer about your eyewear benefits. Some insurance we take for exams but not for eyewear.
Vision service Plan alone, for example, has 3,000 different plans. We will make every attempt to help you use your insurance to your benefit but we can't know everyone's plan.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to give us a call or email us. Please see our CONTACT page for all the details. We look forward to helping you!
